Who grants the credit, Carrera Motos or Avanza?
The financing is granted by Avanza. Carrera Motos S.A.S. is the dealer and importer of KOVE in Colombia: we run the preliminary check and guide you through the process, but we do not decide the approval nor set the terms of the credit.
Does a viable assessment mean I already have the credit?
No. The online check is preliminary: it tells you whether Avanza can assess a motorcycle loan for you. Final approval depends on the formal assessment Avanza carries out with the documents you submit, and the terms may change at the time of approval and disbursement.
What information do I need for the check?
Your ID number and your first surname, exactly as they appear on your ID document. Nothing else. If you also want an advisor to contact you, you may leave your mobile number and your city, but that is optional and does not change the result of the check.
Does running the check commit me to anything?
No. It is not a credit application and it does not commit you to anything. It is an informative step: you decide afterwards whether you want to continue with the formal assessment.
What are my ID number and surname used for?
Only for this check: they travel to Avanza so we can find out whether you can start a credit assessment for a motorcycle. We ask for your express authorization before running it, with a box that is not pre-ticked. If you also authorize an advisor to contact you, your details remain in Carrera Motos systems for that purpose.
How long does the answer take?
You get the answer on screen, within seconds. You do not have to wait for a call back to find out whether you can move forward.
Do I have to visit a showroom to run the check?
No. The check is online and can be run from anywhere in the country. A Carrera Motos advisor handles the next step; in the form you can indicate the closest city so we know who can assist you.
What if the answer is that I cannot start the assessment right now?
The answer is generated automatically by Avanza, based on your record with the credit bureaus. It is not a Carrera Motos decision and it is not final. If you would like to know the specific factors involved, or review other payment alternatives, an advisor can help you.
What does it mean that my details “do not match”?
That the ID number and the first surname you entered do not correspond to each other. It is not a credit rejection nor a fault on our side: check that you are entering only the first surname, exactly as it appears on your document, and try again.
