How KOVE Italia finished the 2025 ISDE
The team entered the Bergamo Six Days on rally bikes. This is the outcome: two reached the finish and one did not.
In August 2025, KOVE Italia entered the Bergamo ISDE with an unusual bet: riding the Six Days on rally bikes instead of enduro bikes. This is how that bet turned out.
The three riders, one by one
Cesare Zacchetti, a Dakar veteran, completed all six days of competition.
Andrea Gava also reached the end of the six days, on the KOVE 450 Rally.
Matteo Bottino, a two-time European Motorally champion, retired on the third day aboard the KOVE 800X Rally.
What the ISDE leaves behind
The ISDE measures six consecutive days, and what it tests is not a fast lap but the endurance of bike and rider. That two rally bikes reached the end of the sixth day, in a competition designed for a different kind of machine, is the takeaway from this edition.
