KOVE Warranty
Your KOVE has the factory warranty backed by Carrera Motos S.A.S. as the official importer, in addition to the legal warranty established by Colombia's Consumer Statute (Law 1480 of 2011).
Warranty timeframes
- Models of 250 cc and above: 2 years or 30,000 km, whichever comes first.
- Models under 250 cc: 1 year or 20,000 km, whichever comes first.
The KOVE range available today in Colombia is 250 to 800 cc: every active model is covered for 2 years or 30,000 km.
What it covers
Manufacturing defects under normal use conditions:
- Engine and transmission.
- Electrical system.
- Structural components.
- Genuine KOVE spare parts fitted while the warranty is valid.
- Batch defects confirmed by the factory.
What it does not cover
- Consumables and wear parts: filters, sprockets, chain, spark plugs, brake pads, cables and fluids.
- Normal tyre wear.
- Accidents, misuse, unauthorized modifications and natural disasters.
- Repairs carried out outside Carrera Motos's authorized network.
- Failure to follow the maintenance plan.
While the network is being built, write to us before any repair so your warranty is not affected.
How to claim it
Write to Carrera Motos's after-sales email attaching:
gerenciaposventa@carrera.com.co- Purchase invoice.
- The motorcycle's chassis number.
- Description of the issue.
We are working to handle your KOVE's servicing, spare parts, repairs and warranty at our own location from November 15, 2026. Your warranty applies from the purchase and is handled as set out in the manual: in the meantime, write to us through the official after-sales channels.
